What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is Aladdin.
What is your favorite children's book?
Books by Enid Blyton. Found them to be well written, alot of variety to choose from. I remember loving 'Merry Mister Meddle' series for their humor.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
I loved playing board games and card games. Cabbage patch dolls.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My children are my greatest inspiration.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Love going to the beach, walking trails/parks and traveling. Spending time with family
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I love watching my patients grow and gain new skills. In general I feel they are fun, interactive group each with their unique personalities which makes the day interesting and fun. It is a great feeling when they trust you to 'make things better'.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I believe it is important to understand the patient's and parents' points of view, be patient, and show empathy when discussing management and treatment options. Explaining why you are recommending certain treatments rather than simply enforcing them also helps build trust.
