An online resource center providing you with additional helpful information.

Choosing a pediatrician is an important and personal decision and we want you to feel at ease with the care you and your child will receive.

The best care possible.

Our practice provides both routine health care as well as acute visits for your children from the newborn period through young adulthood.

Our annual healthy child visits for school/sports consist of: vision and hearing screens, developmental screening, anticipatory guidance on topics such as nutrition, exercise, safety, school, socialization as well as a complete physical exam. The appointment is scheduled for 30 minutes to ensure that we have time to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have about your child.

Is your child sick? Does he/she need medical attention? Call our office and we will schedule an appointment for you for the same day. We are happy to see your child after office hours or on the weekends if he/she requires.

Our practice is unique in that we physicians believe in a hands-on approach to medicine. We employ assistants to help document your child’s vitals – height, weight, blood pressure, etc. but we perform all lab tests (rapid strep and flu tests, tympanometry, urinalysis) and we administer all of your child’s vaccines to ensure proper and consistent techniques.

Routine Immunizations
At each well visit, a comprehensive physical exam will be performed on your baby. Routine immunizations will be given to your child as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). It is our belief that these vaccinations are essential for your baby’s health, and without them, you are putting your child at risk for life-threatening diseases. You will be given an information sheet about each of the immunizations that your baby will receive on your initial visit. We would be happy to answer any of your questions not addressed by these information sheets.

Sick Visits
Appointments for sick visits are always scheduled on the same day. If you feel your child needs to be seen, let the receptionist know so that that she may schedule the visit. The office remains open until the last patients are seen. However, the telephones are switched over to the answering service at the end of regular hours. If you have been given an appointment after hours and cannot make it please call via the answering service so that the doctor isn’t waiting for you.

Our waiting room is divided into sick and well sections to help prevent the spread of contagious diseases. If you think your child has chicken pox please let the receptionist know so that she may arrange a room immediately.
