Appointments

Our patients, newborns through adolescents, are seen by appointment for illness, injury, and well child examinations. We respect the time spent in the waiting room and we make every effort to minimize any delay.

If you must cancel an appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance. There may be a charge for missed appointments, and if there are repeated missed appointments, without prior cancellation, subsequent office visits will not be scheduled.

There will be an additional fee billed to your insurance company for after hours, Saturday and Sunday appointments.

Payment at the time of the visit is requested. Fees are based on services rendered. If a financial hardship exists, an agreed upon realistic plan for payment will be considered.

Telephone Consultations

Many mild illnesses and minor problems can be discussed over the telephone, thereby eliminating the need for an office visit. However, certain problems (for example eye injuries, skin rashes, questionable lacerations,) must be seen before a diagnosis can be made and appropriate treatment begun.

If you call during office hours please be patient. The doctors will return your call as soon as they are able. If you think your child needs to be seen, please do not wait for a return call. Make an appointment so that your child may be seen expeditiously. If your child is ill, please have your child’s temperature available. Antibiotic medications and antibiotic eye drops will not be prescribed over the telephone. If your call is urgent, please indicate this to the receptionist as we will interrupt the current appointment and speak to you immediately. If your call is not returned in a reasonable time please call again.

There is no charge for a brief telephone consultation.

Payment Options

We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own pediatrician.
